Rainbow - Budokan Hall, Tokyo, Japan 1980

Yet another Rainbow, this with Graham Bonnet as vocalist. He was not as consensual as Ronnie Dio but I think he did a good job even with the older stuff.
The album Down to Earth is in focus here with a total of five songs presented in the setlist.
This is an excellent audience capture by the Japanese taper Mr. Peach on May 8, 1980.

Blue Cheer - Neumarkt, Germany 1992

Blue Cheer was formed in the mid sixties in San Francisco. Yet their sound was harder than most of SF acts and they are often cited as precursors of Heavy Metal.
They split up in 1971 but occasionally reunited to play live and record some studio albums.
In this audience recording from two locations of their 1992 European tour we see mostly tracks from the 1991 album, Dining with the Sharks.
Tracks 1 to 8 are from Neumarkt, Germany and have nice quality but track 9 and further on, from  Rockhaus, Vienna, is quite worse.

Toto - Le Zenith, Paris, France 1987 02 04

First time for Toto here, a band that I included in the soft rock 'tag' and never really paid much attention to.
Which is an error as these experienced musicians that took part in much of the worlds best selling albums as sessions players also did some great songs under the name Toto.
As proves this show at the iconic Le Zenith in Paris, a concert included in the Fahrenheit World Tour 1987.
