Scorpions - Cornwall Coliseum, St Austell, UK 1982

Not the most consensual of Hard Rock bands, probably due to them having a repertoire of too much ballads, the Scorpions usually do great concerts.
Like this one on the Blackout tour at the Cornwall Coliseum in St Austell, UK.

Scorpions - The Mayfair, Newcastle 1980

The German Hard Rock band Scorpions recorded at the Mayfair Ballroom, Newcastle while on the British leg of the Animal Magnetism tour.
Last year the group celebrated its 50th anniversary and this days are still touring and promoting Return to Forever, their eighteenth studio album. In fact I saw them in concert a couple of weeks ago and it was a true old-style Rock and Roll show with proper guitar and drum solos, this one by Mickey Dee.

Scorpions - Reading 1979

Scorpions thirty years ago on the 1979 Reading Festival which included also Molly Hatchet, shared on Soundaboard too and many others like Motorhead, Gillan, Whitesnake, Peter Gabriel, Cheap Trick, etc.
Curiously they end up headlining the second night on a festival they weren't supposed to be. The Scorps were called to replace Thin Lizzy on the bill and proved on stage to be the right choice, so say some chronicles.

Scorpions - Grugahalle 1975

This is a less known phase in the career of this german band but a very interesting one. They gained much more recognition starting with the great Tokyo Tapes (live in 1978) and into the early eighties.
In 1975 they still had Uli Jon Roth on lead guitars, as on this show recorded after the In Trance release.
Unfortunately the sound of it suffers from some cuts and noises particularly on Fly to the Rainbow.

Scorpions - Tokyo 1979

Recorded on the Lovedrive tour at the Sun Plaza in Tokyo, Japan on the year 1979. The axeman Uli Roth left the band the year before and was replaced by Matthias Jabbs, this and the change of record label marked the start of a new musical direction on this German band's career.
Excellent sound on this show that I believe to be also known as "Into The Rock".
