38 Special - Syracuse, NY 2002

A great 38 Special show recorded live in Syracuse in April 2002.

The setlist includes most of their classics and two songs from Drivetrain which was only released two years later. An album that marked a return to a heavier sound, present in the band's early albums before the AOR fever that hit southern rockers in the eighties.

38 Special - Muzzle Flash (1981)

38 Special, one of the great southern Rock bands, for me is also one that plays on the hardest side of  this music. To get it even better, this recording caughts them on top form.
It was mainly made live in Atlanta and Memphis during 1981, it has been spread with the title Muzzle Flash being probably one their most known unofficial releases.
Strangely there at least two tracks from Rock N' Roll Strategy, an album from October 1988, so these are possibly from a different period.

38 Special: Memphis 1988

I really enjoy 38 Special live particularly since I heard the EP Wild Eyed & Live from 1984. Unfortunately they only released a complete live album late on their career with "Live At Sturgis" on 1999, so any non-official recordings are really good to hear.
This was recorded live at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, Tennessee on the Rock n' Roll Strategy tour, but most of the songs are from the good 'ole times :)
