Some months ago I had a great time attending my second Jethro Tull show, in Lisbon (see picture below - pics only allowed during the encore). A nice setlist combined with near perfect sound mixing.

Unfortunately I don't know any recording of it, instead here's other Tull concert played just 25 years before at Christopher Cohan Center, Performing Arts Center in San Luis Obispo, CA

My kind of new year's concert, Jethro Tull accompanied by a full orchestra or using Ian Anderson's words 'a bunch of fiddlers I met in a bar'.

I read somewhere that this was the first Tull concert in the United States that included one, the Tanglewood Festival Orchestra.

Called the Jethro Tull Summer Raid this tour also passed by Denmark, Israel, Germany having started in England at the Milton Keynes Bowl for a show partially shared here twelve years ago!

From a King Biscuit Flower Hour show this is a performance on the A album US tour where Jethro Tull had as support Whitesnake.
There is a edition of this circulating with the name Caught in the Crossfire (from where I got the artwork) and it includes 2 extra songs from 12 November at the LA Sports Arena.

Jethro Tull: Milton Keynes Bowl 1986

I know there are many Tull fans around so here's another great recording of them this time live at the Milton Keynes Bowl, UK, were they appeared as special guests and Marillion were the headliners. This was a broadcast by the BBC in 1986 and rebroadcast some years later.
It's only about 40 minutes of music but very worth.

This show from the 16th of November was a broadcast by KMET-FM and though the sound isn't very good still deserves a listen.
