Blue Oyster Cult - The Rooster Tail, Detroit (1973)

There was a request for this show so here we have B.O.C. again. One of the reasons this hasn't appeared on Soundaboard before is its low quality, sounding like an audience tape.
But its an interesting recording of an important period in the Cult's career, just before the release of the great Tyranny and Mutation album.

Blackfoot are back aboard with a show on the Milwaukee '94 Summerfest playing a couple of songs from After The Reign, their last studio album and the usual classics.
Although Rickey Medlocke was the only original member by this date, the band still managed to get a hard rocking sound, so characteristic of Blackfoot on the early 80s.

Something different today with Webb Wilder and his band, The Beatnecks live at the Fox Theater in Boulder, Colorado.
A mix of country, surf guitar, rock & roll, and a sense of humor or as he calls it:

Rory Gallagher - Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis 1991

This is a rare soundboard recording of a full Rory Gallagher concert, with more than 2 hours, and is shared here by RushmoreStrat that was also attending at the show.
It was on March 20, 1991 at the old Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, a perfect venue to see and hear Rory's raw energy close enough.

Point Blank was formed on the year 1974, recorded six albums and split on 1982. In 2005 they reunite to do a benefit concert and are still touring these days.
Curiosity: Track 7 is an explosive version of Deep Purple's Highway Star.

Lone Star - Paris Theatre, London 1976

October's first post is a recording on which a did a little tweaking on the sound. It's Lone Star, and this was kindly shared by AndyAnon:

"...it's their first BBC Radio 1 Live In Concert session in 1976, when they opened for Mott. It was recorded at the Paris Theatre, London on 23rd September 1976. I remember recording these sessions onto cassette tape from FM radio and cursing whenever a motor bike came past and interfered with the reception...

The line up is

Kenny Driscoll - vocals
Paul Chapman (later to join UFO) and Tony Smith - guitars
Rick Worsnop - keyboards
Pete Hurley - bass
Dixie Lee - drums

All tracks are from their eponymous debut, with the exception of Hypnotic Mover, which appeared on their second album Firing On All Six (John Sloman took vocals on the second album)."
