Ry Cooder - Laguna Seca Raceway - Monterey, CA 1987

Ry Cooder was the opening act for The Grateful Dead on May 9th and 10th, 1987.
It was part of a two-day event named 'A Weekend in Monterey' held at the Laguna Seca Recreation Area in the city of Monterey, CA.
This is the 9th of May show, recorded by Don Pearson, later transferred and finely mastered by Charlie Miller.

Ry Cooder & David Lindley - Tokyo 1979

Ry Cooder and David Lindley, two excellent multi-instrumentalists performing as an acoustic duo at Kubo Koudou in Tokyo.
This was from October 29, 1979, a date from one of the world tours Ry and David made along the years.

Ry Cooder - Nakano Sun Plaza, Tokyo 1988

Ry Cooder has a very prolific career touching music styles as soul, rock, blues, world, jazz and many others.
He composed many Soundtracks (Paris, Texas, Crossroads, etc) and has played on albums of Neil Young, Taj Mahal, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, John Hiatt and many more.
In this partial recording from a show at the Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo he is accompanied by Flaco Jimenez, Van Dyke Parks, Jim Keltner, Bobby King, Terry Evans, Steve Douglas and Jorge Calderon, musicians that played on Get Rhythm, the album Ry released on 1987.
