Greg Lake with Gary Moore - Toronto, ON, Canada 1981

After the demise of ELP, Greg Lake started a solo career, releasing his first album in September, 1981.
In the studio for that record were musicians such as Steve Lukather, Dean Parks, Jeff Porcaro, Ted McKenna, Clarence Clemons and many others.
One of these was Gary Moore that was also part of Greg's band on the tour to support the album.
This is the concert at Convocation Hall, Toronto, Canada on the 20th November 1981.

Purple Haze, The Jimi Hendrix Story (2002) Part 2

"Purple Haze", The Jimi Hendrix Story was originally broadcast in January 2002 on BBC Radio 2.
Presented by Gary Moore, tells the story of the greatest guitarist of all time and one of the most influential figures in rock music. 
The programme features archive interviews with Jimi himself, and we also hear from Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Mitch Mitchell, Noel Redding, Chas Chandler, Brian May, Robert Wyatt and Jimi's longstanding girlfriend, Kathy Etchingham.
Here's part two with approximately 39 minutes.

Gary Moore - Balingen, Germany 1995

This is from a copy of a liberated released called Last Blues For Greeny minus four filler tracks from other shows that were meanwhile released.
It's the late and great Gary Moore at the SWF3 Festival in Balingen, Germany in 1995.
In this same year Gary had released an album with songs written by Peter Green, his favourite guitar player and inspirator.

Gary Moore - Nijmeegen, Netherlands 1984

I grabbed this from my archives recently and felt really good to hear Gary Moore's guitar playing again.
The downside is it being too short, a recording with less than 30 minutes, part of the concert at De Vereeniging, Nijmegen, Netherlands.

Gary Moore - Garden Party, Milton Keynes 1986

Gary Moore, one of the best rock guitar players of all time, played on Saturday 28th June 1986 at the Milton Keynes Bowl on an event called Welcome to The Garden Party which had Marillion has headliners and guests Magnum, Mamas Boys and Jethro Tull.
This is the part that was broadcast by the Radio station.

Gary Moore - Pinkpop Festival (1983)

Gary Moore live on May 23rd, 1983 in the course of the Corridors of Power tour, playing with him there were Ian Paice, Neil Murray and Don Airey.
This concert was held at the Pink Pop Festival, Holland with an attendance of 40.000 in a year with Men At Work and Simple Minds as the best acts on the line-up (besides Gary of course).

Gary Moore - Hamburg, Germany (2000)

In memory of Gary Moore, a great guitar player recently disappeared. He made a solid career playing wonderful music, be it hard, rock or blues.
This show perfectly demonstrates his brilliant playing whether with his songs or doing blues standards as The Sky Is Crying or Further On Up The Road. He even plays Fire from Jimi Hendrix's first album.

A recording at the Paris Theater in London from the Hard-Rock period of Gary Moore. With mostly songs from the "Corridors of Power" album it's about 50 minutes long, it was probably edited for brodcast.

Gary Moore - Belfast 1989

Another recording from this excellent guitar player, this one performed at the Kings Hall in Belfast, on March 9th 1989.
Captured on the second night of the "After The War" tour with the new drummer Chris Slade after Cozy Powell, who played on the album, quit.

Gary Moore: Hammersmith Odeon 1987

This is a part of a show recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on the 1st of April during the "Wild Frontier" tour. The source was a FM broadcast by the BBC radio.
On a side note one of the concerts from this tour was here in Portugal at Cascais and i was lucky to see it. I think it was the only time Gary Moore played here although he has lots of fans mostly from his blues phase.
