Frank Zappa - Knebworth 1978

As part of  their 1978 World Tour, Frank Zappa and band played at the Knebworth festival on September 9 with artists on the bill such as The Tubes, Peter Gabriel, Boomtown Rats, etc.
I guess Zappa would not desaprove the imaginative title Oh God, Not Another Boring Old Knebworth Festival that appeared on promotion posters. This was the second edition of the Knebworth event held in this same year, 1978.

Frank Zappa - BBC Radio 1 Star Special (1980)

Star Special was a music slot on BBC Radio 1 featuring guest musicians who would act as DJs and play some records of their choice.
On a broadcast from January 27, 1980 Frank Zappa took on the role of 'Fraudulent DJ' and aired his favourite music selections, as expected very diversified and surprising.

"And now on Radio One - the best radio show you've ever heard, in your life!"

Frank Zappa - Chalk Pie (1981)

The excellence of Frank Zappa with magnificent sound recorded at various venues on the 1981 tour (except for 3 tracks from Fall 1980) with some studio overdubs added at Zappa’s home recording studio.
To my information tracks from this that appear on official albums have extensive overdubs and different mixes.
This version was made by JWB, a Zappateers contributor on September 2011 and is an upgrade to previously circulating ones.

Frank Zappa - New York Hallowe'en 1977

Frank Zappa
New York Hallowe'en 1977 mp3 256kbps

Everyone should listen to Zappa.
Not my favourite artist but certainly
the one who most opened my ears.
I have the full show from a different source
but it is nowhere near as good as this and
would not be presented on soundaboard.
As Rocket used to say on his sadly missed
'Hear Rock City' blog: We listen to the crap
so you don't have to!
regards
Titus
