Ted Nugent - Nugent Nuggets (1981)

The information i got is that this was performed live in Los Angeles in 1981-05-12. There are tracks from Nugent, the 1982 album so I'm not certain...
It's a good show but the sound isn't wonderful.

Steve Hillage - Canterbury 1979 (FLAC)

Same great quality as my previous
Hillage post. I saw him play a few
shows in the late 70's. It was always
a good freak-out. There were lots
of Afghan coats & woolly hats man!

My favorite Dutch rock band is back aboard, this time with a performance in front of 300.000 people on the Scheveningen beach. And what a show these guys deliver!

Mitch Ryder - Rock am Ring 1988

One of the greatest voices in Rock music, Mitch Ryder has a long career that started back in the sixties when he had several hits mostly with the Detroit Wheels.
This recording comes from a broadcast at the 1988 Rock am Ring festival in the city of Nürburgring, Germany, a country where Ryder acquired a faithful fan base through the years. The show took place in the morning, Mitch talks about that in the small interview contained in the last track.

Frank Zappa - New York Hallowe'en 1977

Frank Zappa
New York Hallowe'en 1977 mp3 256kbps

Everyone should listen to Zappa.
Not my favourite artist but certainly
the one who most opened my ears.
I have the full show from a different source
but it is nowhere near as good as this and
would not be presented on soundaboard.
As Rocket used to say on his sadly missed
'Hear Rock City' blog: We listen to the crap
so you don't have to!
