Muddy Waters music was a strong and decisive influence on many of the Classic Rock artists that I have been sharing here.
This excellent recording (but probably incomplete) was played at the Ontario Place in Toronto, during his 1979 north-american tour.

Probably one of the best shows to be shared here this month, Johnny Winter and band on the first disc and Johnny with Muddy Waters on disc two, both accompanied with fantastic musicians as James Cotton on harp for example.

This is certainly one of the highlights of this September blues month on Soundaboard.
Played on June 15, 1976, it was the occasion of the proclamation of the Muddy Waters Day in Boston.
