Joseph Benjamin Hutto & the New Hawks 1982-1984 Unreleased Album

None of these tracks have ever been released.

Hutto was influenced by Elmore James, and became known 
for his slide guitar work and declamatory style of singing. 
He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame two years after his death.
Enjoy this historic work from one of the unsung masters!

Rats! I missed out on this one, and now the links are dead.

I first came across Hutto on a 1980's BBC documentary about Chicago blues which has recently resurfaced on the iPlayer. What an otherworldly presence he had.

Apologies for the late reply, I've only just seen your query.

The program was from a documentary strand called Arena, and on 27/07/1985 they had a dedicated blues night on BBC2.

I checked on YouTube and some kind soul has uploaded it there:
