Cracker - Knaack Club, Berlin, Germany 2006

The Knaack started as a nightclub in Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin, Germany. It opened in 1952 as a youth club and disco and later turned into a live music venue, but it closed on December 2010.

The Californian band Cracker played there on November 2006 on the European leg of the Greenland Tour 2006.

A phenomenal show from this alternative rock band that has a big portfolio of good songs and features vocalist David Lowery and guitarist Johnny Hickman as the two original members.

This is a band that I wouldn't miss if I had the opportunity to see in concert.

On this night at the Keystone in Palo Alto the artists were presented as Cowboy Fee & The Heifer's Dream.

In reality this is a hilarious set from the Tubes masquerading as a country and western band and playing mostly cover songs.

A benefit concert to aid the Indochinese refugees held at the Palladium in New York City on February 16. Tickets for this event sold out in three hours and a second show was added with similar success..

Todd Rundgren and his band Utopia were the headliners and other artists involved were Patti Smith, Rick Derringer, Meat Loaf, David Johansen Group and Blue Oyster Cult.

Included are two tracks from each of the latter bands' shows.
