Budgie - Live In Bydgoszcz 1982

First and about time to have Budgie aboard, this is one of the very few unofficial titles that I've seen on the web, its quality is far from great however.
It was recorded at the Zawisza Amphitheater in the city of Bydgoszcz, Poland during their 1982 tour.

Elvin Bishop live @ My Father's Place is Elvin having a party alright. 
Elvin Bishop music is always good time music, and live he's at his very best. This is a live broadcast from 1979, two years after his official live album "Raisin' Hell'", and it's a treat. A little less polished, but that only adds to the charm of his music. There's no Mickey Thomas present, so the emphasis is less on the singing, more on the picking. Southern Rock with plenty of Funk and Soul. And Blues of course.
If you dig Elvin Bishop at all, you'll love this

BIG Pete Pearson has been singing the blues onstage for 65 years. His first gig was at the Triple J in Austin, Texas, on guitar and vocals, when he was 9. These days, you can find him most Sunday afternoons in the intimate venue of the Blues Wagon in Trenton, though he's also likely to turn up on a stage someplace in Europe singing to a crowd of 86,000.
Born in Jamaica, Pearson came to the US with his grandparents when he was about 5, eventually settling in a small community on the edge of Austin, with gravel roads, no sidewalks, and lots of opportunities to play music.
That first gig at age 9, earned him $ 1.50, "enough to buy a good-sized bag of groceries," he says. Over the next several years, he continued to build a reputation around Austin until, as a teenager, he pulled the cigar box with his considerable savings out from under the porch, bought himself a 1946 Ford coupe that left a tail of smoke in its wake , and struck out on his own. For years, he performed seven nights a week in Austin to packed clubs. When he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in the 1950s, he affiliated himself with a club there, assembled a new band, and launched a Phoenix-based career of playing on multiple nights to packed houses. In 1995, he was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame.
For years, Pearson played guitar and bass and also sang with his own band and many others. But 35 years ago, he came to the conclusion that a microphone was a lot easier to carry around and gave up the instruments. "I can carry all my stuff in my little briefcase, and I'm loaded for good," he says.
At Pearson's estimate, he's been part of over 100,000 live performances, sharing the stage with blues legends like Muddy Waters, Gatemouth Brown, John Lee Hooker, BB King, Pinetop Perkins, Ray Charles, Big Walter, Little Walter, T-Bone Walker, Ike and Tina Turner.

This was recorded at the Forum di Assago in Milan, Italy during the Real Live Tour.

Roomful Of Blues - Live in Cedar Rapids Iowa 2006

The Rippin' Frog shares a Roomful of Blues with us this time.

Over the course of their decades-long existence, Roomful of Blues effectively became a franchise unto themselves, built more on a brand-name collective identity than on the voices of the myriad individual members who kept the band a smoothly humming machine. 
Describing Roomful of Blues that way, however, gives short shrift to the many accomplished musicians who have emerged from the band's ranksover the years: guitarists Duke Robillard and Ronnie Earl, Mark Dufresne, organist Ron Levy, pianist Al Copley,  singer Lou Ann Barton, vocalist/harmonica player Sugar Ray Norcia, and drummer Fran Christina  (later of the Fabulous Thunderbirds), to name the most prominent. Plus, the band's horn section blossomed into a renowned freelancing unit, backing countless other artists both on-stage and in the studio. 
They've evolved over the years, too; from a swinging jump blues revivalist group into expert blues historians with a handle on numerous regional variations: Texas, the West Coast, Chicago,  New Orleans, Kansas City. Perhaps the best way to put it is that regardless of who was in the group, Roomful of Blues just kept going strong.

Rainbow - Overdrive (Cardiff, 1983)

Contrary to what says on the cover of this edition titled Overdrive this show is from the UK tour of Bent Out Of Shape, the last studio album Rainbow did before the group disbanded on 1984.
I believe this is the complete concert at the St. David' Hall in Cardiff from September 14, 1983.

Nine Below Zero - Village 1 Mars 2003

Nine Below Zero on Soundaboard, a very welcome share by Rippin Frog.

In 1979 while playing at The Thomas A'Beckett pub in the Old Kent Road they accepted an offer from former musician Mickey Modern to manage them, and it was he who persuaded them to change the band's name to something sharper. Greaves chose Nine Below Zero after the Sonny Boy Williamson II penned song
At that time Modern was a musician signed to A&M Records, after producing the band's demos he persuaded A&M to give him a record label with which to launch this band's career. Modern named the label M&L Records.
Under Modern's creative direction and production, the band went full-time, and in 1980 released their first album, Live At The Marquee, which was recorded on 16 June 1980. Bradley on drums was replaced by Stix Burkey. By the end of that year they were one of the most popular club attractions in London, pulling in audiences from other genres, particularly the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, attracted by their high-energy fast tempo sound. They headlined at the Hammersmith Odeon and featured respected bluesman Alexis Korner, a long-time champion of new electric blues talent.
Nine Below Zero kick off 2014 their 35th year  with a tour small tour with Ben Waters playing piano with the band. The set they play with Ben is different, with more songs from the Hats Off project they made together.
After the tour with Ben they join The Stranglers as special guests for a six week tour of the UK. Later in the year to help promote the re-release of Don't Point Your Finger and Third Degree on Universal Records they are putting the classic line up together for a one off tour of the UK. The usual sprinkling of festivals in the summer will be the icing on the cake of what will be a  very special anniversary year for Nine Below Zero.
