Blue Öyster Cult - The Edge 1999

The Red & The Black

Eric mentions a cable broadcast although
I believe this is an audience recording.
This is a strange sounding show. In parts the rhythm
guitars are almost inaudible. Eric's singing on 'Take Me Away'
is well off key. He does complain about the monitor sound
prior to this. It's also far too tinny for me, so I did a bludgeon
remix. Nuthin' fancy - just made it fat & let it blow!
It works better for some tracks than others.
320kbs + cover art.
I've also included artwork for the BÖC Paris 1989 show.
I'm planning a blugeon remix of this one too.
Nuthin' fancy - just fat 'n' blowy!
Let me know if you'd like to hear it.
I have, of course, provided a link to the untouched version.
N.B. The remix has a choice of intros.
The full monty for those who like to build up the tension
& a shortened one for those who just can't wait.

Titus

Genesis - Montreal 1974

For those who missed it in the comments here's another Genesis in the seventies generously offered by Titus.
Check out reviews for this show here.

Here is Genesis live in Montreal 1974:
Peter Gabriel & the boys are in fine form on this excellent
FM show from the 'Selling England by the Pound' tour.
All the usual 'stories' are spoken in French.
These posh lads are fluent.
If you don't have it - get it!
Just check out that setlist:

Watcher of the Skies
Dancing with the Moonlit Knight
Cinema Show
I Know What I Like (in Your Wardrobe)
Firth of Fifth
The Musical Box
Horizons
The Battle of Epping Forest
Supper's Ready

(Tony Banks struggles through the piano intro to 'Firth'
which was eventually no longer included in live performances
of this song. His work on the early albums is nothing short
of genius but it has to be said - he is ALL right hand.)

Ripped at 320kbs with brand new covers
exclusive to soundaboard.

Genesis - Cleveland 1976

We have more Titus work aboard, this time he brought us Genesis in the first tour after Peter Gabriel's departure.
Read more about this show here, on the Complete Guide To Live Genesis Radio Shows.

This is a great sounding show
from the 'Trick of the Tail' tour.
Taken from an FM radio broadcast.
I'm mainly a Gabriel era fan myself.
'And Then There Were Three' just
about scrapes into my collection.
(grudgingly)
Regards
Titus

Blue Öyster Cult - Harvest Festival 2002

This share is an offer that Titus brought here from a recording he received in a trade and very generously decided to share on Soundaboard. For me any BOC is welcome, thanks Titus.

Blue Öyster Cult
Harvest Festival
Illinois 2002

Received this in trade. It seemed like a decent recording
but there was very little bottom end & the rhythm
guitar parts were almost inaudible. So I gave it a bit of a
tweak. I've probably overdone the bass
- but then I DO like my bass!
Some songs are quite sloppily played - not their best
ever performance. Listen for the major bass boob just
after the intro of 'Burnin' For You'
But even sloppy Cult is good & they do get it together
in parts. The thing I love most about listening to boots
of this band is that no two shows seem to sound the same.
Artwork is included.
