It's always a highlight of my browsing to visit your site mate, you really come up with shows that just say...BANG!!!

Do you take requests? Yes? Great! Here's one:

Any SDB show with Motörhead. It's weird...but I can't find any good SDBs with Lemmy and the boys. I hope you someday can and will help out AtticRock. Cheers!

Of course i take requests Toxxy, curiously i just finished downloading a Motorhead concert from Sweden 2000. From the bits i heard so far it seems to be one of those 9.5 quality shows :)
But it's true, i think it's my first Motorhead(that i adore) SBD show!

Toxxy said...

H*ll yes! 9.5 in quality...brilliant AtticRock! Just what EVERYBODY needs :-)

I've been one of Lemmy's "disciples" since the very early eighties and if there's one man/one band that stands out in the rock'n'roll world it's Lemmy/Motörhead. The man's a genius, incredible...etc...and know how rock should be played!

Another request (yeah, I'm on a roll now, he-he!): if you happen to stumble upon one of Neil Young's Roskilde Festival shows (DK) do please give me a shout! As with Motörhead shows, I've been looking like forever for one of those Roskilde shows.

Thx again AtticRock and have a GREAT weekend :-)

Hello AtticRock,
Ah! Ted Nugent
I once bought his entire back catalogue for pennies
from a store that was closing down. That was 20+ years ago.
I recently got a DVD of a 1976 show. The man is an animal!
He likes his feedback.
I will offer something soon,
maybe an early Genesis...Montreal 74 anybody?
All the best
Titus
P.S. My best friend & I /wives/children have decided
to spend some of the summer in Portugal. I'll be the
one in the Flower Kings T-shirt!

Hmmm...no info on these are AUD or SDB...well, only one way to find out...my downloads starts now! Thx anonymous.

ALL the files are Mp3 @128...d*mn! I can only imagine what two of the below shows would sound in @320 or better still, in FLAC, APE, SHN or WAV...awesome no doubt! One good thing; all the shows are tagged...lovely!

My opinion on all the shows, here goes:

1. Motörhead - March 22, 1982 - City Hall - Newcastle, England
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2HK19NQM
>Not bad, not good...but it's the best 1982 show I've ever heard and I'm keeping it (for sentimental reasons?) and I think you will too if you download it.<

2. Motörhead - June 10, 1983 - Apollo Theatre - Manchester, England
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=S0X81ZOI
>Wow! For an recording that's 25 years old this is almost bloody excellent! A small complaint; the guitar could be a little louder and maybe the drums are a little too much in the foreground. But really, this is a f*ckin' great recording/show. DOWNLOAD!<

3. Motörhead - July 2, 1993 - Roskilde Festival - Roskilde, Denmark
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=242CV4S0
>An okay AUD recording. A short show, seven tracks (incomplete?) but you should properly hear it anyway.<

4. Motörhead - December 14, 1995 - Lemmy's 50th Birthday Bash - Los Angeles, California
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=S5VIUQ12
>Bad AUD. Avoid!<

5. Motörhead - May 21, 1998 - The Docks - Hamburg, Germany
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5CJ7IDHS
>FANTASTIC! SUPER SOUND! A MUST DOWNLOAD! This must be the pick of the lot. What are you waiting for? Grab this beast...NOW!<

6. Motörhead - November 29, 2000 - Sport Hall - Luleå, Sweden
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F8DTEVE4
>SUPER SOUND yet again! This is also a MUST DOWNLOAD! Get it...NOW!<

7. Motörhead - June 8, 2002 - Sweden Rock Festival - Solvesborg, Sweden
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YEHE1MH6
>Bad AUD. Avoid!<

8. Motörhead - November 2, 2006 - Newcastle City Hall - Newcastle, England
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WMU6MKV0
>An okay AUD but you'll properly not hear it more than once or twice. Not a keeper in my book.<

9. Motörhead - November 12, 2006 - New Theatre - Oxford, England
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O0XD5JAM
>An okay AUD, can be heard 2-3 times I guess, but again...not a show I'm gonna keep.<

Thx again for the linx anonymous, I really appreciate it!

I'm not anonymous -my name is Titus.
Not a big Motorhead fan myself., although I have seen them live many times in the 70s & early 80s. I first saw them in 1977 supporting Hawkwind.
I am amazed you have checked them all out, and pleased that you found something of interest.
Well done Toxxy!

Toxxy said...

Sorry 'bout that...didn't see you signed yourself (as) Titus.

Cheers buddy :-)

Hey Toxxy,
Do you need artwork for any of these shows? Let me know & I'll make some. (just for fun)
Or for any other boots?
Keep on rockin'
Titus

Toxxy said...

What an offer! ...and I can't refuse it :-) I could use a bunch of covers/artwork for many of my bootlegs but if you're up for Titus I'd surely appreciate covers/artwork for these Motörhead shows:

1. Motörhead - March 22, 1982 - City Hall - Newcastle, England
2. Motörhead - June 10, 1983 - Apollo Theatre - Manchester, England
5. Motörhead - May 21, 1998 - The Docks - Hamburg, Germany
6. Motörhead - November 29, 2000 - Sport Hall - Luleå, Sweden

If you're still up for more work when you've done the above, I'm very tempted to mail you a list with my cover-whishlist :-)

Reach me at..:

Hey Titus! Thx a lot for the covers :-) Really nice work you've done, congrats indeed! I think especially the Luleå front is a real killer!

Yeah, sure I'm interested in the show from Stockholm 2005. Good quality?

Okay, no e-amil then. If/when I have more covers requests, I'll just reply in one of AtticRock's newest posts.

Thx again Titus :-)

Thanks Toxxy,
Stockholm show is pretty goog quality - coming soon!

Hello AtticRock,you are very quiet?

Here is Genesis live in Montreal 1974:
Peter Gabriel & the boys are in fine form on this excellent
FM show from the 'Selling England by the Pound' tour.
All the usual 'stories' are spoken in French.
These posh lads are fluent.
If you don't have it - get it!
Just check out that setlist:

Watcher of the Skies
Dancing with the Moonlit Knight
Cinema Show
I Know What I Like (in Your Wardrobe)
Firth of Fifth
The Musical Box
Horizons
The Battle of Epping Forest
Supper's Ready

(Tony Banks struggles through the piano intro to 'Firth'
which was eventually no longer included in live performances
of this song. His work on the early albums is nothing short
of genius but it has to be said - he is ALL right hand.)

Ripped at 320kbs with brand new covers
exclusive to soundaboard.

Well, i was out the last 3 days and you T guys take over the blog?
I just wanna say one thing: well done :)
Toxxy, the Motorhead show i was refering from Sweden is the sixth from the nice list Titus brought here, btw thanks for the very useful reviews, i'm listening to the Manchester 1983 right now and i'm f**kin amazed by its quality!
The intro to Hoochie Coochie Man sounded familiar and after checking my copy of the Another Perfect Day CD there it is has a bonus track!
It's an incredible version only possible with Robbo on guitar.
And hey hey your Neil Young's Roskilde request will not be forgotten.
Titus, excellent choice on coming over here in the summer, you can always count with our sun... and this year lots of music here too, I hope to see ZZ Top and Neil Young for the first time :)
Nice of you to share all these Motorhead links with us even if you don't appreciate their music that much :)
And thanks for another Genesis show!

Keep On Rockin!!

Cheers

for anyone listening to the Motorhead 1983 Manchester Apollo show - this is a professionally-mixed album, not just a regular soundboard - that's why it sounds so good :)

I was at the Manchester show and it was a good one :)

BTW.. it is also an official release, it was a bonus or second disk in a deluxe edition of one of the motorhead albums (Another Perfect Day??)
