Blues Pills in Manchester, a concert from a year ago at the Band on the Wall, an historic live music venue recently renovated.

It was during the Happy F*cking Birthday tour promoting their fourth studio album, Birthday, released in August 2024.

A good sounding audience recording from a show full of energy, as reported on chaoszine (thanks for the photo).

Blues Pills - Norje, Sweden 2023

Alongside DeWolff that I shared some posts ago (unfortunately with no love from our readers) is Blues Pills, another 'newish' band making great hard/blues music.

In this 45 minute recording at the Sweden Rock festival in its 2023 edition the band led by singer Elin Larsson showcases their trademark intensity as I have witnessed some years ago.

The Swedish band from Örebro released an excellent album this year named Birthday, be sure to check it out!
