Badfinger – Cowtown Ballroom, Kansas City 1972

Badfinger were a Welsh rock band formed in 1961 in Swansea that was influential on the 1970s power pop genre. It is estimated that the band sold around 14 million records.
This concert, recorded and broadcast by KSHE 95 FM in St. Louis while promoting the Straight Up album, presents the band's more power‑rock side.

I got these from the man himself after I met him in a
 chat room on Soulseek back in around 2002.
I did mentioned to him that I seen him at the Yale a couple times... 
once in the Spring of 1999 !
Then he sent me these!
So I may have been there that night ! I never got a date from him 
but I like to believe that was that night !

On March 20 1979, BBC Radio 1 invited David Bowie to be the DJ for their show Star Special.
Just 2 months before releasing Lodger, Bowie spent two hours playing some of his favorite songs (and 2 tracks from the new album). An eclectic mix including The Doors, Iggy Pop, John Lennon, Philip Glass, Talking Heads, Jeff Beck, The Rolling Stones, etc.
This recording comes from a re-broadcast on March 25, 2013 on BBC Radio I Player.

Blue Oyster Cult - Cobo Arena, Detroit, MI 1976 (AtticRock Remaster)

Next May, close to its last days, will mark the fifty years of the release of the wonderful Agents of Fortune album.
On September 11, the same year, Blue Oyster Cult played an impressive concert at the Cobo Arena in Detroit with Spirit as special guest plus Angel preceding their show.
This comes from a stereo recording that suffered some problems, mainly on the left channel, and were repaired as possible.

It's the soundcheck from the rehearsals for the Serious Moonlight tour and the only known recording with Stevie Ray Vaughan before he left Bowie's band.
Note that Stevie Ray Vaughan collaborated on Bowie's 1983 successful album Let's Dance.
