Wow! I worked adjacent to the Pennyfarthing for over ten years (77 - 89) and saw Spirit play this place (sort of) and must have not sobered up enough to realise McPhee was on way back then! But as pubs go its landlord had a particularly keen interest in rock! Look forward to checking this one Rippin’ Frog! Thanks man!
