Machiavel was often booed during their set. The audience didn't accept their prog pop music style. And then, their music instruments got stolen during this tour, I think it was in Marseille. Thus for the Machiavel members it's not a good souvenir. But they still tour nowadays in their home country Belgium.

Wow, I guess it was not an easy ride for Machiavel... While creating this post I did some research and found a band with a long career and still active indeed. Here their only hit was 'Fly', a regular song on rock dance clubs.

Well, have a listen to Mechanical Moonbeams LP. One of my teenager best of albums. Ok, do agree, that the singer hasn't a perfect english accent, more like belgian/italian, but who cares, the music was tremendously popular in south of Belgium aka Wallonia.

Just put it in the jukebox and the instrumental is really good, the vocals don't impress though, and not just for the accent.
