Thanks so much for this show! Simon McBride is doing a great job for them. He's not trying to re-invent the wheel -- he plays more in the classic Blackmore style which gives Purple a bit more classic sound than they had with Morse, although Morse is brilliant of course.
Completely agree with you, and the band keeps on going. To be honest I prefer their recent albums to some of their 90's work.
