I remember seeing Molly Hatchet opening for Cheap Trick that year !

Great memories,

Derek

Hi Derek, Cheap Trick live was very interesting around these years, I'm thinking about the Budokan album of course, but still I prefer Molly.
darth, can you tell me what is the song with problems?

Yep, it was Cheap Trick's Dream Police tour in Brussels (Belgium) and I remember a guy asking me when the mighty Molly Hatchet was on stage :

When are they playing "I want you to want me" ????

May I dare to say that some thirty years later, my best friend and myself still have : LOL on this...

Just downloaded this what the f**k is a shn file ? , wont play on my PC , cant convert it either with my converter why not use mp3 ? waste of time :-(.

Took me 3 seconds to find an answer to what is a shn file:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shorten
If you can't convert it maybe you should find a converter that does the job.
This is shared also on MP3 as all the others that I post. Its link is just below the SHN links, not too hard to find :)-

Very surprised these guys ever played England at all.
Sorry, but I thought they were one of the worst southern-rock bands . . . they opened for UFO once in Fayetteville and it was torture to get them off the stage - boo's didn't work, the crowd yelling YOU SUCK didn't work - eventually the house lights came on and they walked off.
Awful.
Skynyrd, the Allmans, Wet Willie, etc., etc., could blow them away.

I wouldn't compare them to the Allman or Skynyrd but in my opinion they play on the same league as Blackfoot or the Outlaws.

who is the above pickle that has his taste buds in his butt?

there is no way they got booed off stage, anywhere!

imo, best southern rock band ever, especially if you like to rock, not some foot tapping country rock band like skynyrd.

Great show, been wanting this for years, I was there :-) it was a wonderful day at Reading and the Hatchets were awesome, really went down a storm, rushed out and bought the album as soon as I could.
Dreams I'll Never See - some horrendous noises right through the track, or is it just me? If anyone can put me right....send me a line on climaxbluesband@live.co.uk Thanks, Alyn

The SHN files play ok.

Hi Attic Rock, I downloaded the shn files and converted...but I'm getting exactly the same noises throughout Dreams... in fact worse.
I appreciate your help, but it seems this track is a bit of a jinx to me...the rest are perfect...would you be able to think of a way round this...it's just the one track, could you possibly send it to me by any chance to complete the set? Many thanks, Alyn climaxbluesband@live.co.uk

(can trade..hopefully have something of interest...just to complete this set...thankyou...Alyn)

You were right, I couldn't convert that track without getting errors.
Anyway I found a FLAC version of it and have included it in the post, but its quality is inferior.

Thanks so much AtticRock - I really appreciate your time on this and even if the quality is a little lower (to be honest, to my cloth ears it hardly notices :-), I'm still overjoyed to get the full set (or at least the part of it that was broadcast on the BBC), and I'm a happy man! Thanks again, Alyn

Hello AtticRock !

I came here from your last "38 Special" post, and I found most of the Molly links are down ...

Is there any chance you can re-up them ?

Many thanks :-)
