The Who - Sacramento Valley Amphitheatre 2000

The Who is a highly appreciated band for me, they have fantastic albums and usually deliver great live shows. 

This concert at the Sacramento Valley Amphitheatre lasted almost 3 full hours and you can find a fan report praising it on The Who Concert Guide.

"...Townshend gave a clinic on guitar-doing things and playing like I've haven't seen in 25 years. Entwhistle was his usual, quiet, stable presence and absoluted floored the crowd... Roger's voice was also in great shape..."

Originally a Canadian FM broadcast, this show circulates under different names and types of mastering.

This source is certainly one of the best and is from a copy of the broadcast, probable edited before being aired on the radio as it does not reflect the tracks' real playing order and unfortunately is only 36 minutes long.

Steppenwolf - The Bottom Line, NY 1981

John Kay & Steppenwolf at the famous venue The Bottom Line in New York.

It's an incomplete recording of a radio broadcast, according to the person that shared it the first three songs had extensive analog distortion and therefore were omitted.

Still, what we have is very good, shows quite a cohesive rocking band.

"The power trio with class", quoting Randy referring to their three member formation that existed from around 1978 to May 1979: 

Randy California, Ed Cassidy and Larry 'Fuzzy' Knight.

This Spirit lineup recorded a live album at the Rainbow in London on March 11, 1978 which is mentioned a lot in this concert in Philadelphia.
