The Winters Brothers Band - Detroit Club, Port Chester, NY 1980

No relation here with Johnny or Edgar Winter, The Winters Brothers Band is a great Southern Rock band with a career spanning four decades and founded by Dennis and Donnie Winters.
Having released the debut album in 1976 they toured with The Charlie Daniels Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Allman Brothers,etc.
This was recorded from a broadcast with occasional noise interference at the Detroit Club, Port Chester.

Eric Quincy Tate is a Southern Rock band that played regularly in Texas, got signed to Capricorn Records but wasn't as successful as some others we know so well.
Fortunately they left us some good recordings to prove their music is top quality, performed with extended jams and long guitar solos.

Hi - here is a rare track which John Entwistle of the Who produced for the band Sharks featuring Chris Spedding and Steve 'Snips' Parsons in 1974. It is one of 7 tracks which were completed before Island records pulled the plug on the Sharks 3rd album.

As part of our Crowdfunder campaign offers the tracks are featured on a limited edition album entitled THE CAR CRASH TAPES. Scorpions - The Mayfair, Newcastle 1980

The German Hard Rock band Scorpions recorded at the Mayfair Ballroom, Newcastle while on the British leg of the Animal Magnetism tour.
Last year the group celebrated its 50th anniversary and this days are still touring and promoting Return to Forever, their eighteenth studio album. In fact I saw them in concert a couple of weeks ago and it was a true old-style Rock and Roll show with proper guitar and drum solos, this one by Mickey Dee.

This excellent show was captured from a WLIR live broadcast from the Ultrasonic Studios on October 1, 1974.
