Styx recorded during the Equinox Tour '76 on a show at the Winterland, the emblematic arena in San Francisco that saw it's name on several live albums.
The band is in top form but this recording could use some mastering, the sound although clean is quite dry and poor at lower frequencies.

Recorded: Mar. 10, 2011
Venue: CBC Studio 1, Halifax, NS
Venue: CBC Studio 1, Halifax, NS
The Canadian East Coast has been a hotbed of blues music for,at least, the past fifty years. Many styles and influences...country blues, swing, urban and jump, to name a few, have contributed to what is now an east coast sound and approach.
CBC in the Maritimes decided the time was right to showcase this wealth of blues and to produce a musical special for radio, television and online. The East Coast Blues Summit brings together those influences, styles, and an incredible group of Maritime singers and musicians on one stage performing some of the music that inspired them as well as originals.
Matt Andersen, Morgan Davis, Linda Carvery, Garrett Mason, Theresa Mallenfant and Carson Downey are all award winning artists with deep blues roots and emotional delivery. The band is a special group of players, all being recording artists in their own right.
From the very first notes of rehearsals right through to showtime there was an atmosphere of excitement and joy to be playing together.
I recorded this from a CBC radio/podcast show

Walter-Trout - Live Jazzbones, Tacoma, WA. 2004
Trout's career began on the Jersey coast scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s. He then decided to relocate to Los Angeles where he became a sideman for Percy Mayfield and Deacon Jones. He also worked in the bands of John Lee Hooker and Joe Tex.
In 1981 he became the guitarist for Canned Heat.] This led to an invitation to play in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers where he shared the stage with fellow guitarist Coco Montoya. He left the Bluesbreakers in 1989 and formed the 'Walter Trout Band' which developed a successful following in Europe.
In 1994 the official Walter Trout Fan Club for the Netherlands and Belgium was founded, followed in 1996 by the official International Fan Club which has members in 14 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Australia. In 2006 the official International Fan club celebrated its tenth anniversary by giving fan club members an exclusive live CD recorded in Las Vegas, Nevada, which was the last performance of the late bassist, Jimmy Trapp, who died in 2005.
In 1998 Trout released his self-titled US debut album and renamed his band 'Walter Trout and the Free Radicals' (later renamed 'Walter Trout and the Radicals' and currently simply 'Walter Trout'). Since that time Trout has been recording and touring in North America, Europe and India.

Billy Squier - Salt Lake City 1984
This was recorded at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City during the tour of Signs of Life, the fourth album in Billy Squier's career.
I counted five tracks from it and on a side note the last one, Rock Me Tonite, had a promotional video that Billy himself considered as the main cause for a derailing on his career, so bad it was!
The rest of the song listing is composed of some classics including some of my favourites like In The Dark or The Stroke.

Joe Cocker & Grease Band - BBC Radio Sessions 1968
A little taste of the 60ies this time !
R.I.P
The Grease Band
was a British rock band that originally formed as Joe Cocker's backing group. They appeared with Cocker during the 1960s, including his performance at the Woodstock Festival in August 1969.[1] After Cocker formed the Mad Dogs & Englishmen band, the group released two albums without him in the 1970s.
Their keyboard player was Chris Stainton, another Sheffield born man (known to his friends as Robin) who went on to tour extensively with Eric Clapton. Bassist Alan Spenner and rhythm guitarist Neil Hubbard went on to play in the UK white soul band Kokomo; following this, Spenner worked in support of the late 1970s/early 1980s incarnation of Roxy Music. Drummer Bruce Rowland later joined Fairport Convention.[1] Henry McCullough was the Grease Band's lead guitarist, a role he later occupied in Paul McCartney's WingsJoe Cocker & The Grease Band

Aerosmith - Alohasmith 1983 (Soundaboard Remaster)
A new Aerosmith show on Soundaboard, but widely circulated under the title of "Alohasmith!".
So from a copy of it that sounded too dry for me here's an exclusive Soundaboard remaster with enhanced sound, and at least to my ears it got better...
This was recorded at the Blaisdell Center Arena in Honolulu, during the Aerosmith phase without Perry and Whitford, and with the lineup that recorded Rock in a Hard Place that I still think is a very good album.

JOHN NEMETH Live Ratingen feat Junior Watson 2007
Well you know you have a great band line up when you have to put Junior Watson on Bass!
John Németh
(born 1976) is an American electric blues and soul harmonicist, singer, and songwriter. He has recorded seven albums since 2002, having also backed Junior Watson and Anson Funderburgh. He has opened for Robert Cray, Keb' Mo', and Earl Thomas.Allmusic noted that he is a "vocalist with great range, ability, and soulfulness, Németh had also developed into a top-notch blues harmonica player..." In 2013 alone, he was nominated five times for a Blues Music Award, making nine such nominations in total.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2007 with his dazzling national debut album (Magic Touch), John Németh has wowed critics and audiences alike with his riveting vocals and harmonica prowess. The Philadelphia Inquirer testified to his standing in the current music scene with the comment, "Classic soul and R&B styles have been revitalized by artists such as James Hunter, Eli 'Paperboy' Reed, and Sharon Jones. You can include John Németh on any list of the best of them."
On his latest release, Name The Day!, the dynamic soul sensation continues to reinvigorate vintage American rhythm and blues with his uncanny ability to skillfully blend retro and modern blues and soul into compelling music that is simultaneously old and new.

Lazy Roosters Live At Clarion (2008) Sweden
Lazy Roosters is a Swedish blues band formed in 2006 located in the
"mountain country" of central Sweden called Bergslagen, Örebro county.
Their style incorporates both Chicago and Texas blues, both covers and
own songs with lyrics in English. The band won the 2008 Scandinavian
Blues Contest at Monsteras Roots & Blues Festival, Sweden. Lazy
Roosters mostly plays the local blues scene in and around Örebro city or
county, occasionally in other major cities in Sweden or at blues
festivals around the country
this is a decent crowd recording. Crowd noise in between the tracks is a little annoying
Show is really good so even if Im not a fan of this type of recordings I decided to post anyway
Lazy Roosters only have 1 official album, but there is a few other live recordings around

Robert Lucas & Canned Heat LIVE Bonn, Germany, November 4, 2007
Former Canned Heat frontman Robert Lucas, a
skilled slide-guitarist and harp player, died on Sunday, November 23rd,
2008 from an apparent drug overdose, according to his manager Skip
Taylor. The Long Beach, California native was just 46 years old.
Lucas first became known to blues fans as a member of guitarist
Bernie Pearl's late-1970s band, originally playing harmonica behind
artists like Big Joe Turner, Lowell Fulson, Percy Mayfield
and other West Coast blues and R&B singers. Lucas worked on his
skills for years before launching his own band, Luke & the
Locomotives, in 1986.Lucas hooked up with boogie-rock kings Canned Heat in 1994 as singer, guitarist and harp player, and would first appear on the band's 1996 Blues Band album, the last featuring founding member and guitarist Henry Vestine.
Between 1994 and 2008, Lucas served two stints as the band's frontman, touring the world in front of the band and contributing songs, instrumentation and vocals to recordings like 1999's Boogie 2000 and the band's 2007 Christmas album.
