Molly Hatchet - Reading 1979

Recorded live at the Reading Rock Festival on its edition of 1979, the year Molly Hatchet released Flirtin' With Disaster their fine second album.
It's a short set, I have no idea if they played more but just this is worth listening.

Dio - Zenith Paris 1987

A good show with tracks that could easily belong to a Ronnie James Dio 87's best of, but unfortunately the sound isn't very good. At first seems captured from the audience but slowly it gets better so it was probably a problem with the sound settings on the board.
This was recorded on the Dream Evil tour at the Le Zenith in Paris, a legendary venue that has seen many Rock giants perform since 1983.

This is a DVD from a VHS-Rip of a TV Broadcast from a concert at the Hollywood Sportatorium in 1981. Seven songs from this show were used for the fabulous Extraterrestrial Live.
It's my biggest upload ever, almost 3GB, and here are some screenshots to help you decide to download it or not :)

Heaven and Hell - Sweden Rock Festival 2007

Now that they are recording a new album lets go back to Heaven and Hell's 2007 World Tour.
H and H, or Black Sabbath (as you wish) stopped by the Sweden Rock Festival on July 7 and their concert was transmitted on P4, a Swedish national radio.
Unfortunately it's not the entire performance, an audience version of it is circulating around the net.

Another gig from the Roadburn festival on its 2004 edition, Orange Goblin, that curiously played just before Monster Magnet.
In their set there is a cover from ZZ Top's Just got paid (with some Zeppelin in between), for me one of the most interesting moments.
This one's for waldyr that was looking for O. G. live recordings.

News aboard!

First of all, Titus, a regular contributor of Soundaboard has resigned :) He decided to go solo, I invite everybody to check out his project here, it's cool stuff:As you - regulars here - know, Titus has done quite an impressive work on uploading and sharing stuff so naturally the lack of his posts will be noticed. Particularly with the prog-rock fans.
For me the compromise assumed here, in my very first post, still remains valid. However I can't promise more than 3 or 4 shows every week maintaining Soundaboard quality standards and a natural emphasis on the Classic Rock side of music of course.
I plan on doing some changes, mostly visual, on the next weeks. As always comments and suggestions are very appreciated.
It has been almost two years since this project started and I'm still enjoying the ride.
I hope you too!

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (for K.D.)

(West Touring Group) FM (webcast?)
Rockline Los Angeles, CA 2008 (FLAC)

The Christmas fetishists performing live
in the Rockline studios. Good sound quality
with just the odd glitch. To me this is
music for people who are not into music
but hey K.D. loves 'em so what do I know!
Musical genius or a sterile placebo?
On a positive note:
they have a great lighting rig.

Faith No More live is always Showtime!, this has tracks 1 to 14 recorded at the Sheffield Arena, and tracks 15 to 18 recorded at Maida Vale Studios in London to a BBC Radio 1 show.
Both from December 1992, year they released the great Angel Dust.
The sound is great but has some saturation typical of a highly processed FM signal.

Montrose before they even had a name.
I'll bet Ronnie had one in mind!
I have two versions of this, one I DL'd
& one I was sent on CD. The latter sounded
slightly better so that's the one you're getting.
Some slight drop-outs in 'Bad Motor Scooter'
but generally the sound is reasonable although
the radio station compressed it to death.
