Here we have some old school Iron Maiden. Live at the Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany from the World Piece Tour 1983, they were supporting my favourite Maiden album including the epic To Tame a Land.

A rare soundboard capture but lossy sourced.

DeWolff - Chauny, France 2015 (AtticRock Remaster v2)

Dutch group DeWolff is one of today's top bands for me, their records are an usual presence in the best of the year albums list and in concert they're even more exciting.

Here we go back to March 28th, 2015 to the Rock’N Festival in Chauny, France with mostly songs from the album Grand Southern Electric from 2014.

This came from a good audience capture but I thought it could be turned better with a remaster.

Next December 6 they will release their 10th studio album, called Muscle Shoals. 

Serious advise: don't miss it and if you have the chance, go see DeWolff live and thank me later!

Saga - Forum, Montreal 1984

From Canada, here's Saga, with their elegant fusion of pop, progressive and hard rock.

At the height of their international success, they performed at the Montreal Forum on February 24, 1984. About eighty minutes of that concert is heard here, drawn from a performance on Toronto's CITY TV that was simulcast on CHUM FM and Q107FM. The show took place during their tour behind the 1983 album Heads or Tales. 

This performance includes seven tracks of their classic live album In Transit, released two years earlier.

A nice Foghat show from a period where they enjoyed some commercial success in the United States.

George Geranios, sound engineer for Blue Oyster Cult, who performed with the band on that day, made a direct soundboard recording from a cassette tape. 

The recording starts with a cut-in in the middle of the beginning, but the rest is complete.

When the rock historians get down to painting a true picture of who 

invented Rock and Roll, JOHNNY OTIS will undoubtedly be one of the 

key figures in the musical revolution on the west coast of America in the

40's and 50's. He was responsible for discovering and employing some of

the great rhythm and blues singers and instrumentalists as well as writing

some of the classic songs of that era. His own hits include numbers like 

"Harlem Nocturne", "Cry Baby Cry" "Ma He's Making Eyes At Me" and 

"Willie and The Hand Jive".
