Hi there,

in my opinion the quality rating is getting useless more and more.
to give a 9,5 to this recording is not what it deserves.
Comparing to the official "Band Of Gypsies" of the same time it would not deserve more than a 8.

Giving a 9,5 you must give the Nine Below Zero a what??? Twenty maybe.

I think it's not neccessary to upgrade bad recordings.
Two years ago the ratings were much more objective.

Keep up your good work as i have found a lot of really good stuff and i don't want to miss this blog.

this would be an awesome show if it wasn't on such a worthless server! downloading anything from that site has resulted in several of my downloads timing out and quitting.

try putting stuff on zippyshare!

The quality rating is entirely subjective, it is only my point of view, sometimes more accurate than others.
I see your point but I will not compare two shows separated 36 years in their existence.
This Jimi show from 1970 for me has a similar quality to some official live albums of that era.
Thank you for the compliments regarding the blog.

Thanks again for the tunes! I have Jimi Plays Berkeley on VHS, but off course no longer a video-recorder, so it's nice to have Jimi Plays Berkeley again. Be it a (slightly) different way...

I had no problem with my dl. I have the soundchecks from this show and I Can't wait to hear this. As for the rating system,I usually find that your ears and mine are tuned about the same. and in general, if its rated at 9 or higher it's going to be a good listen every time. Keep up the fantastic work.

Thanks for this Soundboard Attic

Sounds OK to me but I'm somewhat bias I'm afraid, as I've grown up listening to pretty crappy recordings on vinyl boots and anything would be an improvement on them!
Downloaded the MP3 without a hiccup also
