Recorded: Jul. 09, 2010

Venue: Vancouver Island MusicFest, Courtenay, BC

Vancouver Island MusicFest has been bringing great roots and world music to the Comox Valley and Vancouver Island since 1995.
Headlining this years Friday night main stage was Tim Williams, Amos Garrett and the Festival AllStars. The set was hosted by the venerable Canadian bluesman Amos Garrett and the multi-stringed Tim Williams who brought along the Electro-Fires, his long-time electric band - Ron Casat, Suitcase James, Kevin Belzner and Mike Clark.
If that wasn't enough, they invited a stellar lineup of great B.C. guest musicians - Les Quitzau, Paul Pigat, Gary Preston, Roy Forbes and Dave Harris.
CBC Radio 2 pulled up our low rise chairs alongside eight thousand other music lovers and took in the main stage spectacle.
