Hello my portuguese friend!
UFO is one of the best hard rock band that I ever heard! The line-up of this show only the fantastic vocalist Phil Moog (from the 70s) participated and they had a japanese guitar player called Atomic Tommy M (where`s this guy?)
The sound of this boot is terrific!!
Great job again!
Hi Luis, this was sort of a comeback for UFO, it does sound great indeed.
I was at this show :-)
A rainy day :-(
Was at this gig. The weather was crap all day and the mud was deep :) Still got loads of good memories of it though. We came down on a bus from Ayr in Scotland to the gig and got stuck in the mud. Had to push the bus out of the mud and ended up being sprayed from head to foot by the wheels. Still it was a good one!
i too was at this show and it rained all day apart from when deep purple came on,well for 10mins anyway.
I was at this concert. I was a Yank stationed in England and went to many of these festivals. This one was terrible, weather-wise. The Scorpions, Blackfoot and UFO were great. Phil Moog got a bit pissed with the bottle-throwing and Meatloaf got pegged with a mudball. It was fun, that's for sure. Despite the weather.
any chance of an upload
Ok, there's new mp3 and flac links.
This is available as an official release on the On Air: At The BBC 1974-1985 box set
