I don't have a blogspot or anything, but if anyone wants a "companion piece" to go with this great Allmans show, I have 8 songs from the Mountain show from that same night in Stonybrook. It is an audience recording, but still enjoyable. Just let me know. And thank you Soundaboard for this show!.....Jordan

I worked this show and remember it well. Blew everyone away.

I was at this show with my buddy Kerry--I think we hitchhiked from Bayport on the south shore--we went to see MOUNTAIN! I remember having my back turned away from the stage making the scene with my hair getting "really good in the back" and all of a sudden the two lead guitars started doubling and it was an ephiphany! Don't remember Mountain too much from that night!

I was at this show, it was fantastic. My only regret was the audience booing Mountain. Not cool.

Someone did some extensive historical scholarship on this tape, and makes a pretty good case that the date was July 10th.

Just FYI.

Ok, thanks!

Is there a flac version available ?

I analyzed the flac files and discovered they are sourced from 128kbps MP3 files. Waste of bits my friend.

I uploaded new files and I believe these are lossless, they're from another source.

These new files are sourced from 320kbps lossy files. Better quality than before and probably indiscernible from lossy files anyway.

Does anyone know if any of the Abros Stony Brook shows were outdoors? Thx
