Just realised we never had Motorhead aboard, so it's time to change that.
And nothing better than start with a show from the Brian 'Robbo' Robertson era, a period that produced the great Another Perfect Day album, although this live recording is taken the Iron Fist tour.
On the downside the sound is a little out of the usual Soundaboard quality standards even being FM sourced.

this is new to me- its a 10 in my book !! thanks
Nice post. I tried to remaster this one some time ago but eventually gave up. The interview is from another era. It's such a pity the quality is not as good as it could have been because it's a great performance. Still worth hearing if you are a fan.
That's it, unfortunately there aren' t many hi-quality unofficial Motorhead releases out there.
Thanks very much for this one, sound quality isn't that bad at all, I really like it!
The interview is from 1984 and was on a free flexi-disc that came with 'Kerrang!' magazine.
Thanks for the additional information.
Hi Guys!
Great to find this here. I actually had an original tape recording from the FM broadcast on Austrian radio. I used to listen to it quite a bit, despite the sound. Cool and probably rather rare cover versions (Nadine, Hoochie Coochie Man), and Lemmy's intro to Capricorn references Austria (..a song in German - sorry, Austrian - but its the same language..)
Unfortunately no idea if the tape still exists and where it is... Maybe Austrain radio just had no idea how to record Hard Rock, let alone something as loud as a Motorhead show.
I saw another concert of this tour, and I am pretty sure Iron Fist was the opener also in Vienna. They seemed to have left it off the broadcast.
cheers, Mika
Hi Mika
You can find a great Hoochie Coochie Man version on the Another Perfect Day CD, the one that has 3 bonus tracks or on the deluxe edition (double CD).
thanks, mate!
I will check this out. I have an older CD edition of Another Perfect Day, without any bonus.
cheers, Mika
