Ten Years After - Texas International Pop Festival 1969

So here's the last of the September sixties special. It's Ten Years After, from a show at the Texas International Pop Festival that took place just two weeks after Woodstock.
I believe it to be the complete show, and was released unofficially by OH Boy Records.

The Who - Woodstock 1969

It's WHOodstock time aboard, with their performance on this huge festival on the 17th of August.
There are several versions of this that is supposedly the full show and includes the Abbie Hoffmann Incident as track eleven. He was a hippie political activist that decided to walk on The Who's stage and got thrown out by Pete Townshend.

Deep Purple - Paradiso 1969

From a show at the Paradiso Club in Amsterdam this is one of Deep Purple's first Mark II line-up recordings. The first track is a curious early version of Speed King.

The Rolling Stones - Live R Than You'll Ever Be (1969)

On with the fourty years or more old stuff aboard, this is The Rolling Stones in their '69 US tour with Mick Taylor as the new guitarist, on a recording that many consider better than the official Get Your Ya-Ya's Out!.
It's an historical unofficial release and although being recorded from the audience this was done using an high class microphone and tape recorder.
It was produced by the same guys that would be known as the (in)famous label Trade Mark of Quality(TMQ), one of the first to record and release this kind of material. For a lot more information about this record you can go here.

Iron Butterfly - Galaxy Club 1967

More psychedelia aboard now with Iron Butterfly recorded at the Galaxy Club,
North Hollywood in 1967.
One year before the In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida release, most songs were taken from Heavy, their first album. This is something I wouldn't call easy listening, but I sure like it :)
