Judas Priest - Breaking The Law (1981)

A quality release (from the Swingin' Pig label) and a great show, probably one of the best sounding Priest unofficial recordings.
Recorded live at the Universal Amphitheatre in Chicago, on the tour of Point Of Entry, a great album unfortunately not very appreciated by many fans.
This one is to celebrate the passing of the Priest Feast through Portugal which happened last week.

Sound Quality: 9.5

Source: Soundboard

Track List:
01 - Solar Angels
02 - Heading Out To The Highway
03 - Diamonds And Rust
04 - Troubleshooter
05 - Breaking The Law
06 - Sinner
07 - Beyond The Realms Of Death
08 - Grinder
09 - Hot Rockin'
10 - You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise
11 - Victim Of Changes
12 - Green Manalishi (With The Two-Pronged Crown)

You're right : judas Priest is a very GOOD band, but "point of entry" is a very BAD album (their worst - to sell in USA they have done a "pop" album). i'm impatient to hear that live stuff .

Point Of Entry a "pop" album?
Aren't you thinking of Turbo from '86?

I was lucky enough to see the Priest on the "Point Of Entry" tour (in Johnson City TN... with Iron Maiden [w/Paul DiAnno!] opening), I'll take 'P.O.E.' over "Turbo" or "Ram It Down" any day - it's truly a classic! Thanks for the post AtticRock, you're the best at finding these nuggets.

Hi Derek, Maiden with Di'anno is really something to remember, I still love the Killers album btw.

Huge Priest fan here and have seen them over 40 times in my life. However, this show there is something going on weather its a phantom track being played underneath their live playing or maybe Rob was ill and they needed to do something because it isnt right. Listen to Solar Angels & Diamonds and you tell me you dont hear a track underneath. Something is fishy about this live show and I have more boots from the Priest than you can imagine. Any thoughts?...Thanks

I've listened to this with headphones on and in fact sometimes we hear a very small delay underneath which gives the impression that there is a record playing along the live recording. One thing is sure, for me this is so well played that sounds like something done in the studio...
Well enough of that, Unleashed In The East has a strong reputation on that matter.
