Ry Cooder - Nakano Sun Plaza, Tokyo 1988

Ry Cooder has a very prolific career touching music styles as soul, rock, blues, world, jazz and many others.
He composed many Soundtracks (Paris, Texas, Crossroads, etc) and has played on albums of Neil Young, Taj Mahal, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, John Hiatt and many more.
In this partial recording from a show at the Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo he is accompanied by Flaco Jimenez, Van Dyke Parks, Jim Keltner, Bobby King, Terry Evans, Steve Douglas and Jorge Calderon, musicians that played on Get Rhythm, the album Ry released on 1987.

John Hiatt - Vredenburg, Utrecht, The Netherlands (1984)

Besides being an excellent musician and singer John Hiatt has also established a solid reputation as a songwriter and has recorded more than 20 albums till this date, the last one from 2012 called Mystic Pinball.
But for this show we have aboard let's go back some years, more precisely to 1984 and enjoy this performance in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

From an unofficial release, very originally titled Hurts So Good, we have John Cougar Mellencamp playing at the Los Anados Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
This was on March, 4 1988 during the Lonesome Jubilee Tour.
From Wikipedia:  "In 1988, Rolling Stone magazine called this version of Mellencamp's band "one of the most powerful and versatile live bands ever assembled."

Musician, singer, songwriter and actress Sheryl Crow with an intense concert at the Warfield Theater on San Francisco on October 25, 1994.
This was still on an early stage of her career as a solo artist, Sheryl only had released the debut album Tuesday Night Music Club, that turned to be a huge success.

I believe this comes from an LP distributed for broadcast on radio stations across America. It's an incomplete recording of a show from the Bella Donna Tour with six tracks from this album that hit the number 1 on the U.S. Billboard charts.

Ellen Foley - Amsterdam, The Netherlands 1980

Ellen Foley is an American singer and actress that became famous with the duet with Meat Loaf on the single "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" of the million selling album Bat out of Hell.
Ellen also sang with Blue Öyster Cult (Mirrors), The Clash (Hitsville UK) and many others.
Her first solo album "Nightout" released in 1979 led her to a world tour and this concert in Amsterdam on February 14, 1980 at the Koninklijk Theater Carréon was part of it.
