The Rockets - Live in Cleveland 1979

The Rockets were one of those shoulda-been-huge Hard/Rock'n'Roll bands.
They were formed in the beginning of the seventies from ex-Detroit members Jim McCarthy (also ex-Cactus) and Johnny Bandajek, these were joined in 1976 by David Gilbert (ex-Amboy Dukes) on vocals.
They released six albums, the last one being the excellent Live Rockets from 1983 that I still hope to be reissued on CD someday. Anyway, this broadcast recording shows how good they were on stage.

AC DC - Blues, Booze N' Tattoos (1978)

This is a recording widely known and spread over the Internet, but to mark their second show in Portugal last June 3rd and due to the lack of good FM/Soundboard shows with Brian, I decided to post this one.
Played at the 'Record Bar' Managers / Executives Convention in Nashville on the 8th of August, 1978 with broadcast on WKDF Radio has only 36 minutes but these are as intense as only AC/DC can be.

Rossington Collins Band - A Night On The Road

The Rossington-Collins Band was founded in 1979 by ex-Lynyrd Skynyrd members, released two albums and dissolved in 1982. They were a strong live act with the curiosity of having a female singer, Dale Krantz, who had been doing backing vocals for 38 Special.
This is a Pre-FM radio show with short interview clips and the live parts were recorded at the Garden State Art Center in Holmdel, NJ, sometime around 1981. Their performance of Free Bird was always instrumental in memory of Ronnie Van Zant.

This show was the second of two nights in February 1969 at the Fillmore East in New York, according to the reviews (and our ears) Janis's performance in this legendary venue was a blast, as in so many shows she did.
