A broadcast recording at the Lone Star Roadhouse in New York, a show with guests Jack Bruce and Mick Taylor on Spoonful, Jack Bruce, Mick Taylor and Rick Derringer on Southbound, and Rick Derringer on Rock & Roll Hoochie Coo.
The setlist has some Allman Brothers Band classics and songs from Pattern Disruptive, the album the Dickey Betts Band released in 1988.

Janis Joplin - Fillmore East 1969

It was 40 years ago... Janis had left the Big Brother and the Holding Company the year before and began playing with the Kozmic Blues Band.
This show was the second of two nights in February 1969 at the Fillmore East in New York, according to the reviews (and our ears) Janis's performance in this legendary venue was a blast, as in so many shows she did.

Roy Buchanan - Amazing Grace Evanston 1974

Back with a gone guitar master, Roy Buchanan, and a show recorded in December 1974 in Evanston, Illinois.
Just a month before he played at New York's Town Hall to record a live album that was released in the following year and I highly recommend called Live Stock.
Most of the tracks from it are also played here.

Jeff Healey Band - The Cotton Club Atlanta 1988

Jeff Healey was a great jazz and blues guitar player (and also singer and songwriter), he passed away on March 2nd, 2008, but his music will always live on.
At the time of this show Jeff had only one album released, See The Light. It has songs from John Hiatt, ZZ Top, Freddie King and others, and also some written by himself.

Aerosmith - Live On The Edge (1994)

Aerosmith live in Nijmegen, Holland on the Goffert Stadion for another date of the Get A Grip European tour.
It's almost the complete concert, only Mama Kin (played after Amazing) was left out and Sweet Emotion has a cut. Not the best 'smith period for me but live they're still rocking and the sound is so good it could be official...

These are two BBC recordings captured at the Paris Theatre in London. The first set has tracks 1 to 6 and is from August 1971, and the second with tracks 7 to 13 is from January 1972.
The DJ introduces each track and Rory as we would expect plays wonderfully both the electric and the acoustic stuff (on 2 tracks).
