Big fan of Rory! And for whatever reason, haven't seen many '76 shows out there.

Thanks, looking forward to checking this '76 show out; it was the 2nd concert I ever went to, Rory, Robin Trower and Jethro Tull at Shea Stadium in July '76. All a blur now...

I was at this show. Rory Gallagher in Cleveland was amazing. He would regularly play 2 nights in a row and at least half the fans at the 2nd show would have been there the night before. Opening for Gallagher in Cleveland was a choice gig with lots of exposure in front of guitar-crazy crowd that Rory Gallagher attracted. AC/DC, Robin Trower, and Nils Lofgren all opened for Rory at the original Cleveland Agora. Kiss opened once too, but the Gallagher crowd pretty much laughed them off the stage after 3 or 4 songs.BS and bombast weren't tolerated by the Gallagher fans who were there to see quality musicianship and a superb show by a consummate live performer. Rest in Peace, Rory, you always delivered in Cleveland and we were lucky to have you stop in Cleveland as often as you did. - Jim Irwin
