After leaving Montrose, Sammy Hagar started a prolific solo career, interleaved with work in bands as H.S.A.S in 1983-84, a long and very successful presence in Van Halen and more recently with the supergroup Chickenfoot and The Circle.
This is a recording from his early solo years, a performance in Austin, Texas from April 1977 for the Rock Around The World radio show.

Is there some secret to getting past all of the gibberish, and actually getting to the file to download ? I've been bouncing around and closing silly pop-ups for the last half hour, and it just seems to be a round and round circle of ads. Am I missing the secret ?
Never mind. Apparently - persistence pays of, and it finally let me through the maze. Thanks for the show. Have never seen this one before.
