Fairport Convention on August 10, 2007 performing the classic album Liege & Lief at the Cropredy Festival, an event created by the band that is held annually with great success.
Fortunately this excellent performance was recorded and two months later broadcast by the BBC.

Let a little dummy in Parisian suburbs just now discover Fairport Convention. I'm just a little 54 years too late but still great fun to listen to this right now. Never too old to folk'n'roll.
You're quite right Derek, we're never too old to find great music. By the way there's several connections between Jethro and Fairport, whether by musicians that were part of them or having Ian Anderson joining Fairport on stage occasionally.
