Queen - Hammersmith Odeon 1975

This is the famous 1975 Queen Christmas concert at the Hammersmith Odeon, and it has been widely available throughout the web in many versions.
Although having some tracks edited I believe this is the best one in sonic terms. For me it's the best period of Queen and the recording is taken from a Westwood One Superstar Concert Series.

Scorpions - Grugahalle 1975

This is a less known phase in the career of this german band but a very interesting one. They gained much more recognition starting with the great Tokyo Tapes (live in 1978) and into the early eighties.
In 1975 they still had Uli Jon Roth on lead guitars, as on this show recorded after the In Trance release.
Unfortunately the sound of it suffers from some cuts and noises particularly on Fly to the Rainbow.

The Rockets - Live in Cleveland 1979

The Rockets were one of those shoulda-been-huge Hard/Rock'n'Roll bands.
They were formed in the beginning of the seventies from ex-Detroit members Jim McCarthy (also ex-Cactus) and Johnny Bandajek, these were joined in 1976 by David Gilbert (ex-Amboy Dukes) on vocals.
They released six albums, the last one being the excellent Live Rockets from 1983 that I still hope to be reissued on CD someday. Anyway, this broadcast recording shows how good they were on stage.
