Joan Jett - The Bottom Line, NY 1980

A recording from a broadcast at the end of 1980, on the very early solo career of Joan Jett. This was after the edition of her first solo album that would be re-released on 1981 as Bad Reputation.
It's a good show with some covers from classic tunes but the sound isn't very clear.

Judas Priest - Breaking The Law (1981)

A quality release (from the Swingin' Pig label) and a great show, probably one of the best sounding Priest unofficial recordings.
Recorded live at the Universal Amphitheatre in Chicago, on the tour of Point Of Entry, a great album unfortunately not very appreciated by many fans.
This one is to celebrate the passing of the Priest Feast through Portugal which happened last week.

Canned Heat - Boston Tea Party 1970

Time for blues and boogie with the Canned Heat, having guests on a couple of tracks a band called Kaleidoscope (with David Lindley and Chris Darrow). Recorded at the Boston Tea Party, a club that welcomed artists like Led Zeppelin, Velvet Underground, Allman Brothers Band, Procol Harum, Jethro Tull, Mountain, Santana and many more.
The 8th track is about 40 minutes long, now that's something that definitely I would not call easy-listening :)

UFO - Chicago 1980

Don't be fooled when you hear Foreigner's Head Games in the first track, it is just the warming sound on the monitors before the show begins.
And what an enormous show this is, despite some drop-outs and small cuts, and also some DJ talk but not intrusive.
It's another one of those fabulous UFO performances at the International Amphitheater in Chicago this time on the No Place To Run tour on 1980 March 16th, with the song Too Hot To Handle being dedicated to Bon Scott that passed out one month before this gig.

A great recording with the Heartbreaker (the last Free album) lineup, a show that Kossof did not miss due to his drug problems, unlike some others from this tour.
This has been circulating with the name "Revenge of the Heartbreaker".
