Pink Floyd - Wembley 1974
Pink Floyd ~ Wembley 1974
Great quality pre FM recording.
The whole of 'Dark Side' is played & at times
sounds very natural and jammy compared to
some later 'album perfect' performances.
You also get a stunning version of Echoes.
It's in 192kb/s mp3 so at just over 100Mb
it's an easy download for everybody.

Titus

thanks alot. do you have anymore the band.
Hey, just came to comment and say I love the blog! I got the SRV performance from Philly from '87; his version of Ain't Gone N Give Up On Love is the best playing I've ever heard of Stevie, and the quality is phenomenal. Still gives me chills to this day.
Do you have any more great quality Stevie boots? I'd love to see some more... I've been coming across some myself, and that Philly show led me here.
Great stuff, keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Hi Patrick, I have some more SRV recordings, it would help if you could tell me what shows are you looking for in particular.
Thanks for the nice words about the blog.
Cheers
Live called : "The Great Gig In The Sky"
Empire Pool, Wembley, London, UK, 16 november 1974
It's been called many things.
I call it "Wembley 1974"

Well I don't have any particular requests.. I would prefer shows of the best quality posted first, and I'd say my era that I am digging now is the '85-'87 era. Ain't Gone N Give Up On Love is my new favorite track that he does live, so if you have any killer quality shows with some slow blues on it, I'd really appreciate the upload.
But my main preference is quality first.
Again, love the posts! SRV was one of the greatest.
Just heard the news:

Pink Floyd founder Richard Wright dies at 65
LONDON (Reuters) - Pink Floyd keyboard player and founding member Richard Wright died on Monday after a short battle with cancer, his spokesman said.
He was 65. Wright, singer, songwriter and guitarist Syd Barrett, guitarist Roger Waters and drummer Nick Mason founded the band that became Pink Floyd in the 1960s when they were students. Pink Floyd went on to become one of the biggest names in rock.
Sadly missed, my favourite Floyd song is Rick's 'Summer 68' from the Atom Heart Mother album.
I shall listen to it tonight.

I read it today on the newspaper, sad day to all music lovers.
amazing piece of jewelry, great sound quality, what a great taste in your ears when you find a great performance like this, wasnt even born in 1974 but listening to this gig makes me imagine of the great atmosphere taking place there, greetings from mazatlan, mexico!
keep this great blog alive!
The rar file I downloaded did not include Echoes or the tune-up preceding it... Anybody else have that problem? Great recording otherwise! Thanks for posting!
AtticRock has reposted it without the Tune up/Echoes. Perhaps he only has the DSOTM part?
That's right, my version doesn't has
Tune Up/Echoes on it.
My first concert was this Floyd tour at the Hollywood Bowl. They opened he show at dusk with the heartbeat in quadraphonic separation going from speaker tower to speaker tower in separation. My buddy and were in the middle of the heart-psychedelic man!
Damn! I downloaded it for Echoes, and THEN read the comments. LOL
Great boot blog!
Sorry, I just updated the track listing
It's been officially released in the new Deluxe Dark Side Of The Moon remaster.
