Black Sabbath feat. Rob Halford - Ozzfest 2004

Black Sabbath feat. Rob Halford
Ozzfest, Camden, USA 2004 (mp3 at 320kb/s)

Rob Halford steps in for the poorly Ozzy.
As he once did in 92 for the sickly Dio.
Yet another soundaboard exclusive.
This is a remaster created from two different sources. The most work I
have ever done on a recording. Tony's guitar is savage (check out that
'Into the Void') and Rob, er... let's say
he does his best & hats off to him for sticking his neck out! Actually
'Void' quite suits him.
Art Notes:
The front cover started out as a photo of
a venus flytrap. The back cover is a picture
of the car Rob Halford uses to get around L.A.
- He was once pulled over by the Police for
road racing against The Cat in the Hat.
It was a huge scandal at the time.
You don't remember it?
regards
Titus

Tracks:
War Pigs
N.I.B.
Fairies Wear Boots
Into the Void
Black Sabbath
Iron Man
Children of the Grave
Paranoid (encore)

N.B. I applied a 0.50s overlap to all
transitions before burning - worked a treat!

fyi - this show is out there on a "pro-shot" screen feed dvd and I suppose the audio here could have been sourced from the vid. and Ozzy was sick on this 2004 date and they got Rob to sub at the day of show.
i think he did a good job and could be the new H+H singer if they wanted to continue.

also the poster's comments about '92 are totally incorrect.
Dio was not "sickly" but rather his contract with Tony was up at the end of the tour and officially ended at what was supposed to be the last show in Oakland. then at the last minute somone got a brainstorm idea "probably Sharon because she needed more ticket sales i would guess" to invite the current Sabs to play on those last 2 Ozzy dates that just happened to be after the Dio contract was up. and Dio didn't have to do the new gigs, and had said he didn't feel that the new Sabs should be opening for Ozzy, so he declined the invite to keep going for 2 more shows. that's the story and you can look it up.

I don't have this one, it was shared by Titus!

Do you know of any way to contact Titus, or anywhere his bootlegs may be shared?

I'd very much like to hear this too. Thanks.

Hi Scott, the last time I heard of Titus was about 1 year ago, he wrote on this post.

As for this show I did some searching and found a Russian site with it.

Cheers

Russian site has endless links and you never get to the songs. Please re-up!

I was there for this. Like the description said, Halford did his best. I personally was hoping for Ozzy buy hey, how many people can say they witnessed Halford do an entire set with Black Sabbath?
