A recording from a WNOE 101-FM broadcast in a venue called Quarter Note in New Orleans.
This is a good Quicksilver Messenger Service show with Dino Valente and Gary Duncan but without John Cipollina.

As advised at the time TITUS, should have applied liberal amounts of sunscreen,did you listen, no!
Not that glad to be back in Blighty,would have stayed in the ALGARVE if i'd have had my laptop in hand.

I'm glad you liked Allgarve. Btw did you saw the campaign where this word was used to promote Algarve? there was a big controversy here around it due to the use of the extra L...

I corresponded with Gary Duncan during this time ... and I have to say, that is one very bitter dude!
He's very hard on QMS's fans for liking this or that of their music, which made no sense whatsoever to me.
Not sure what's going on with the dude, but he's at best a little confused, at worst working off some grudge against his audience, which is (and was) commercial suicide for this attempt to ressurrect the QMS banner. I think they were only called Quicksilver, tho' - not sure.
The first two QMS albums are stone-cold classics. Without Cippolina, they just didn't have the same spark.
