housewife rock my ass. chrissie has written amazing songs over the years and her work is remarkable and does not age for the most part. listen to her new song "boots of chinese plastic" and tell me at 57 she has nothing to say. she's the epitome of a class act..well above these old fogey sludge rockers with nothing to say!

Titus, you will not see Take That in this blog, they are(or were, I really don't care) a Pop band.
Pretenders is a completely different story, I prefer them to Kiss for example.

I have the feeling Titus really wants Take That, What´s next ?? Spice Girls??? Very well done for this show, and Titus do not take me wrong, Pretenders have fantastics songs........ Nothing to do with Housewives and that stuff.........

Since the site owner isn't responding, I will respond to the password question. The password is "soundaboard.blogspot.com" (sans quotes) as pointed out in the post, but for some reason you can't copy/paste it from the page into the password prompt of Winrar, as it doesn't work. Most likely it's picking up some sort of html formatting of the text, which causes a failure. So, you can either type it in, or keep a text document (notepad) of sites and their common passwords, and then copy/paste it from there.

It took me a few minutes to figure this out, as I don't recall ever having such an issue. When copy/paste failed to produce a good result in Winrar, I scanned several of his artits postings compiling a list of common passwords, and from that, tried them all, along with various variations on the suggested password. Imagine my surprise when a copy/paste of soundaboard.blogspot.com from my notepad document worked.

Just to be sure, I once again did the copy/paste from the artist page listing, and Winrar failed again.

This same problem exists for The Kinks US Jive 1988 fileset, as well, but no one has posted a pw issue in those comments.

Hope this helps...

Hi CorrsFan, I forgot this question, thanks for your help.
The problem with the copy/paste of the password is that it appends an extra space to the end and it becames "soundaboard.blogspot.com " (without quotes) and that gives an error.
So the best thing to do is either type it or copy from the address bar.

Oh, man. This doesn't have 'Private Life' on it. My buddy recorded the first half of this on a tape (which I still own) off of WXRT for me during the actual show in 1987; 'Private Life' goes between 'My Baby' and 'My City Was Gone', and it is the best version of this song you will ever hear; simply stunning. That's too bad; the rest of the show sounds wonderful.
Oh well, thanks anyway.

Hello AtticRock !

I just discovered this boot a few days ago and wanted to hear it, but MP3 links are down !

As you seem to be one of the last guys to own/offer this bootleg, I'd enjoy you re-up it :-)

Have a good weekend !

Could you RE-Upload the show "Pretenders - Live at the Pavillion in Chicago 1987" ..Please?

Link says: "Error - File not available"
and: "We are sorry, but the requested file was not found in our database! The file was deleted either by the uploader, inactivity or due to copyright claim."

Thanks for the AWESOME Blog :~}

Can we get this posted somewhere other than Uploaded? That site is never available for free downloads (yeah, right) but is all too happy to give you the file if you fork over some money and join. Really- every time I hit that site, I can never get the posts. Zippy is the best site I've used with Soundaboard. Thanks.
