Blues Pills - Norje, Sweden 2023

Alongside DeWolff that I shared some posts ago (unfortunately with no love from our readers) is Blues Pills, another 'newish' band making great hard/blues music.
In this 45 minute recording at the Sweden Rock festival in its 2023 edition the band led by singer Elin Larsson showcases their trademark intensity as I have witnessed some years ago.
The Swedish band from Ã–rebro released an excellent album this year named Birthday, be sure to check it out!

Blues Pills are one of the best bands to come out in some time. I've been collecting their stuff since the Devil Man EP. Thank you for sharing this recording.

Oh man thank you so so much for posting this show. I've been listening to BP since their debut. Always thought they had a killer sound. So hard to get live music of theirs. So many many thanks for this one!!!

Blues Pills was one of my favourite new bands until they release the very bad album "lady in plated gold" which was an Aretha Franklin copy . I am really not fond of that soul music. Few times later, their fantastic French virtuoso guitarist left the band, his guitar couldn't be heard on that bad album. Blues Pills was not anymore the same. They are not anymore one my favourite band.

No Title, I've seen them with the French guitarist Dorian Sorriaux and it was great. I think they're still very good although much less guitar oriented.
