The Dickey Betts Band - Cabaret Club, San Jose, CA 1989

Dickey Betts, gifted musician and songwriter was a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band. He died last April aged 80, but left an amazing array of quality work, in particular some seminal Allman's records from the early 1970's.
In this nearly two-hour show, we'll hear songs from the album Pattern Disruptive and Allman Brothers classics on which Betts was the composer. In the band was also Warren Haynes on vocals and guitar.

Nutz - BBC In Concert 1977

Many years ago I bought a copy of Nutz's first album (1974), heard a preview at the shop and liked it, plus it had a nice price tag :)
This set played at the BBC studios is however much better and showcases the band's hard and prog blend with room to improvise (Wallbanger).
No Wikipedia page for Nutz so I'll share their entry on The International Encyclopedia of Hard Rock & Heavy Metal (2nd ed. sept 1985) by Tony Jasper and Derek Oliver (the other Derek):
'Nutz were the proverbial support band and always guaranteed to keep the punters happy. 'Live' Nutz was preferable to the studio outfit, and when they so wished they could generate an aggression and deliver the power chords to match most other bands. Their most impressive cut was Wallbanger. Nutz never achieved the heights of  stardom, and vanished, but reappeared (with the addition of Terry  Steers) as Rage.'
