Bad Company - Live Albuquerque 1976

This was one of the recordings Mick Ralphs (lead guitar) did to fine tune the band's performance and includes songs from the first three Bad Co albums, probably their best ones.
Bad Company never released an official live album with their classic line-up, this was officially out on CD in 2006 but has been withdrawn due to licensing problems and it is now a collector's item.

Can't believe Mick Ralphs left the fantastic Mott the Hoople to play in this boring pop band.

Bad Company was far from a "pop" band, let alone boring - at least during their first four albums.

Mick left because of several reasons:
1. He was not into the glam-rock bag.
2. He and Hunter had a bust up one day in the studio and things were never the same.
3. He had been Mott's leader and resented Tony DeFries' moving Hunter into that role.
4. Ian Hunter's very limited vocal range couldn't handle the song 'CAN'T GET ENOUGH' and vocalist-supreme Paul Rodgers could - so, adios.

As a teenager I used to attend a club which played rock until 11pm. After that it became a pop disco. Bad Co. were played after 11 and girls with handbags would dance to them. Mott were played before 11 and guys in gunbelts would twist & jive...nuff said.

I used to dance mean around "handbags and gunbelts", infact I love to scatter those handbags with one of my introductory knee slides.

Sorry man, but it's the reverse situation!
Mott the Hoople is pretty boring compared to Bad Co. and their respective lead singer have not the same range quality!
the poor Ian Hunter versus the great Paul Rodgers..... i've made my choice from the start!

Excellent. I got error on Shooting Star and the file was chooped before it ended. Why so some tracks not decode because of invalid password. I end up with missing tracks

Ok Anonymous looks like you're having problems with this files being split in parts, so do it this way:
Download all the files to the same location on your computer, then pick for instance part1 and with the right-hand mouse button choose extract here. I'm assuming you are using WinRar to extract them.
Then you'll have the complete folder with all the tracks in the same location.

MOTT THE HOOPLE were FAR from boring - a very important, GREAT, seminal band!
I was into them after MAD SHADOWS came out - then went back to the first album and followed them, Mott, and British Lions to the very end.
Ralphs played great in MOTT, but he and Hunter finally had the big fist-fight ... he went on to bigger commercial success with Bad Co.

I see you just re-upped this in May but both mp3 & FLAC seem to be gone again. Just thought I'd let you know.

wow! how did i ever miss this one? after reading the comments, the person that is comparing mott the hoople to bad company MUST be smoking some low quality junk! not even a remote comparison! i'd be willing to bet they are lying about the club where bad co was played after 11:00 also.

thank you
