Hi,

Part 2 of the Blue Oyster Cult New York 1981 is unavailable. The first part is - just wondering if Part 2 could be made available. The rest of the ROIOs have a lot of FBI warnings and / or file deleted notices. Just wondering if these uploads could be re-uploaded of there is a problem. Love to get (via download or snail mail trade) that Part 2 of NY 1981 though.

Cheers

Lawrence

AtticRock said...

Hi Amondüül, UFO - Frankfurt Special 1993 is now available again.
Risj, I don't have any Pat Travers acoustic recording.
Hi Lawrence, I will post new links for Blue Oyster Cult New York 1981 in the next days. The FBI warnings that you see are all related to files that were on Megaupload, as you are probably aware that file hosting site was taken down some months ago. Some other hosting sites just deleted files without explanation.
Soundaboard has now more than five years of existence so it is highly difficult to see if all links are working. Re uploads are done according to requests for specific files such as the BOC 1981 you did.
Cheers guys

Chaindrive said...

Can you clean something up (at least this blog site would be the first), ok, FM broadcast and audience recordings is a no brainier, BUT... when it comes to "soundboard", can we try to get a ruling on it if its a "Main" board vs. monitor board recording. Lets skip the humans running it, the monitor board sounds nothing like the main board and for anybody who's run live music can tell you is doesnt. I go for soundboard recordings "only" but alot of times its a monitor board.. dark, muffled and unbalanced even tho its tagged as EX or +. I know Im being anal, but when it comes to my favorite bands, I want the best possible. I know it sounds impossible but... and some of them been floating around for years and who would remember this? *shrug*

Thanks for your time...

AtticRock said...

I see your point but it is almost impossible to track soundboard recordings to its original source (the first guy that recorded it). Only that way we would know if it was recorded from the main or from the monitor output considering he was willing to tell us. We can try to guess but can never be 100% certain, there are pretty bad main board recordings around.

Chaindrive said...

*laughing* I guess your right, how can I forget Quiet Riot in 2003 at the Feather Falls Casino in Calif. Carlos Cavazo's guitar drowned out EVERYBODY, I was ready to give that "sound man" a boot to the head. But Hey, it was a free show, I got what I paid for, *shrug* I think.... ;0

Hello,

Can you please get any of the early UFO boot shows from 1971-72, with Bolton on guitar? Thank you very much.
