Hey good music lovers, I wish you a rocking 2019 full of great music, whether on record or played live in concert!
This is
AtticRock's choice of the
best albums released last year and displayed below in no particular order.
I added their official links so if interested you can check them out.

The Sheepdogs - Changing Colours
Up in Canada we have The Sheepdogs, which I've been following since 2011 as you can see
here. Impressively every record they make is destined to enter my top ten list.
I need soundboard or FM recordings from The Sheepdogs urgently!

The Vintage Caravan - Gateways
Hot music from Iceland, greatly influenced by the best of the 70's hard rock.

Graveyard - Peace
Another one teletransported from decades ago,
the Swedish hard rock band did a great album this year although not acclaimed as some previous work they did.

Spiders - Killer Machine
Also from Sweden and female fronted the Spiders remind me of Blues Pills
but they are harder and faster. Still with plenty of catchy songs as
Dead Or Alive, Shock And Awe or Heartbreak.

Judas Priest - Firepower
This was widely acclaimed and totally deserved it, close to the quality of their best 80's and 90's albums.

The Magpie Salute - High Water I
Rich Robinson is doing quite well on making something new while keeping a touch of Crowes' marks, also let us
not forget that he is accompanied by fine musicians.

The Temperance Movement - A Deeper Cut
Third album for this British band, great blues/hard-rock songs served by Phil Campbell's unique timbre. Their second, White Bear, was the best of 2016 for me so
there's no trick here, they're really good.

Black Label Society - Grimmest Hits
Monster guitarist Zakk Wylde manages to make great songs and still tour
and do great performances with Ozzy Osbourne (as I saw this year).

Clutch - Book of Bad Decisions
Also from North America, Clutch can't seem capable of making a bad album and this got positive reviews all over, from
Rolling Stone to
Classic Rock Magazine (number 1 album).

Trust - Dans Le Meme Sang
Amazing return to form from the French band almost 40 years after the
classic album Repression! With a more judicious use of the female
choruses (i.e. less) it would even sounded better.

Riverside - Wasteland
If possible I like to include at least one prog album and this time I chose this album that I really liked by Riverside, a world class prog rock band from Poland.
How international is this list?
